How to disguise the dreaded flat screen

I just posted yesterday to my face page the most original way to hide the flat screen that I had seen below. I felt like this is one topic that really created a buzz as I think everyone struggles with this problem.  The photo that I posted is below, honestly how can you not love what designer Julia Blailock, Cote de Texas has a great post on flat screen with some super ideas where I found the photo.

So I decided to take it one step further to see what other ideas where out there. I love the idea of actually making the TV go away instead of trying to dress it up with a frame. It always seems to be the black hole of the book shelf or wall.  When I am helping clients accessories books shelves with the TV incorporated I find it so hard to balance it out.

Great idea with the barn doors.

Laundry Room

What a change! This Laundry room went from Blah to AHHH. So kicking my self for not having before photos. With some paint, cute window treatment hung at the correct height, awesome lighting and lockers this laundry/mud room is a winner.
