Exciting News…

Mark your calenders for Septemeber 11-26th. Elan Interiors is very excited to announce that we are working with Eldan homes on their Parade of house this year. It is a fantastic opportunity and we are looking forward to it.

Another item of news I want to share is an introduction of a very talented interior designer that will be joining Elan Interiors for the Parade House.

Erica Bernhardt: Erica’s style leans toward modern/contemporary with twists of classy, sometimes whimsical, elegance. However, she appreciates all styles and loves to work within a client’s taste. Erica prefers to help you create YOUR space and assist you to realize your own vision, providing guidance every step of the way.

Erica graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in accounting. After business experience in Chicago and Austin, TX and eight years providing business support to JGB Enterprises, she switched her focus and earned an interior design degree at Onondaga Community College, graduating summa cum laude.

Erica has already handled large scale interior design projects with success for various commercial properties in Central New York. Clients include The Red Mill Inn, Hotel Clarence, JGB Properties, JGB Enterprises, Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists (S.O.S.) and the NY Spine and Wellness Center.

Sissy’s Vintage and Nouveau

sissy logo

Sissy's in Baldwinsville, NY is a great new shop that you have to check out. Sissy’s features home accessories, baby gifts, gifts, jewelry and more. I was very fortunate to be able to work with Stephanie on a design vision on wallpaper and window treatments for the store. These window treatments turned out just fabulous and fit in so well with her shops eclectic vibe.

Along with being able to lend a hand with design, I was able to show some of my jewelry and accessories that I  have been designed.

Sterling Silver necklace and earring set with Swarovski crystals and pearls

Support Bike Paths

We had a very small grass roots bike rally in support for SU’s connective corridor which includes an awesome bike bath. This bike path unbelievably was up for debate yesterday. A group of us rode to city hall  including my 2 year old in his bike trailer went to city hall to show support.IMG_0155

Not every 2 year old gets to play dinosaurs on the city steps. The good news is they voted Yes!
